Fried Kingfish in Green Masala Recipe

Ingredients:
Kingfish – 2 steaks, medium sized and 1/2 inch thick
Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp

To grind
Coriander leaves – 1 large bunch, cleaned and chopped
Onions – 1, medium size and chopped
Garlic – 4 pods
Green chillies – 4
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Coconut – 1/4 cup, grated
Tamarind juice – 1 tbsp
Lime wedges and Onion rings for garnishing

Method:
1. In a blender, add all the ingredients along with 2 tbsp water and puree till very smooth.
2. After washing the fish, marinate for about 20 minutes with salt, ground pepper and 2 tbsp of ground paste.
3. After slathering the fish with the green chutney, fry the fish.
4. Garnish with lime wedges and onion rings and serve hot.
