Rajasthani Mixed Dal Recipe
Ingredients:
Arhar Dal - 1/4cup
Chana Dal - 1/4cup
Urad Dal - 1/4cup
Moong Dal - 1/4cup
Chopped onion - 2 medium sized
Garlic paste - 1/2 teasp.
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teasp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder -1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Chopped fresh coriander leaves
Green chillies for decoration
Method:
1. In hot oil add cumeen seeds.
2. Add onion n add paste(prepared in water) of garlic and all masala's when onions get cooked very light brown.
3. When the above masala mixture leaves oil switch off th burner and add chopped coriander leaves n green chillies to it.
4. Boil all the above mentioned dal separately and add them to the masala.
5. Just boil once.
6. Decorate with green chillies n corriander leaves before serving.
Note:
1. Make it ready at least 2hrs before to serve
2. Soak the dals at least for 2 hrs for better taste
