Gajar-Moong Dal Chaat Recipe

Ingredients:
Moong Dal - 1/4 cup
Carrot - 1
Tomato - 1
Coconut - 2 tbsp, grated
Black pepper - 1/4 tsp, powdered
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1 cup
Curry leaves - 8-10
Lime juice - 1 tsp
Fresh Ginger - 1 tsp, finely chopped
Oil - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as per taste

Method:
1. Soak the dal in about 1/2 cup water for 1 hour.
2. Grate the carrot and chop the tomatoes, coriander leaves and curry leaves.
3. Mix all the ingredients in a serving bowl and add the grated coconut.
4. Then add the salt, pepper, sugar, lime juice and ginger.
5. Add the drained dal to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
6. Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds and let them pop. Once done add to the chaat and serve.
