Ingredients:
Apples - 2 (peeled and sliced)
Cheddar cheese - 200 gms (grated)
Butter - 2 tbsp
10 inch Pastry/Pie shell - 1 (unbaked)
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Cinnamon - 1 tsp
Eggs - 4 (large)
Whipping cream - 1 1/2 cups
Method:
1. Heat some butter in a pan and lightly fry apples in it for about 5 minutes.
2. Then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the apples.
3. Now layer the apples in pastry shell.
4. Sprinkle the cheese over the apple mixture.
5. Separately in a medium sized bowl, lightly whisk together the eggs and whipping cream.
6. Pour the egg mixture over the apple/cheese mixture in the pastry shell.
7. Bake in a preheated 375 F oven for 35 minutes or until set.
