Wheat Halwa Recipe
Ingredients:
Samba Wheat - 1 cup (200 gms)
Sugar - 2 1/2 cups (500 gms)
Melted Ghee - 1 cup
Lemon - 1/2
Cardamom powder - little
Kesar colour - little
Water - 7 cups
Method:
1. Soak wheat in water for 10 - 12 hours.
2. Grind it in wet grinder to smooth paste.
3. Squeeze out water by straining it through a muslin cloth.
4. To the pulp, add some more water and grind.
5. Repeat the process of grinding and squeezing three times.
6. Throw away the waste and keep the extract in a vessel for atleast 10 hourss to settle down.
7. Throw away clear water ahich stands on top of the extract.
8. To the sediment, mix 5-6 cups of water.
9. Heat sugar with enough water to cover it, in a heavy vessel and heat till one string consistency is reached.
10. Pour diluted extract, colour and stir well till halwa becomes completely transparent.
11. Add melted hot ghee little by little whenever halwa sticks to the vessel.
12. Stir till ghee oozes from the halwa.
13. Squeeze lemon juice, mix cardamom powder and stir for few more minutes till it leaves the sides of the vessel.
14. Mix fried cashew nuts and pour on a greased tray.
15. Allow it to cool and cut into pieces.

Lemon inthe final stage to be added to spoil the whole preparation . Even without adding the lemon will be nice atleast it will not be spoiled and for new learner this will certainly missguide and waste the whole prepations . Pl guide properly .
