Baked Beans Recipe
Ingredients:
White haricot beans or soya beans - 1 cup
butter - 2tblsp
cheese - 1 cube (grated)
garam masala - 1/2 tsp (optional)
green chillies - 2
coriander leaves - 1 tblsp
Mix together
tomato puree - 3/4 cup
dhania powder - 1 tblsp
tomato sauce - 3 tblsp
corn flour - 1 tblsp
salt - as required
vinegar - 1 tblsp
sugar - 2 tsps
pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Method:
1. Soak beans in enough water for 8-10 hours.
2. Strain the soaked water and adding fresh water, pressure cook the beans till 2 whistles. (or till its properly cooked)
3. Strain the water and mix it with the other mentioned ingredients.
4. Grease a baking dish with butter, pour this beans mixture in it.
5. Garnish with finely sliced green chillies, coriander leaves, rest of the butter on top. Sprinkle grated cheese and bake in a preheated hot oven for half an hour.
6. Sprinkle garam masala powder on top and serve hot.
