Jaggery Dosa Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups wheat flour
1/4 cup rice flour
2 cups water
1 cup cocunut gratings
3/4 - 1 cup powdered jaggery (to taste)
5-6 cardamoms, powdered
ghee or a mixture of ghee & vanaspathi for frying
Method:
1. Mix wheat flour and rice flour, gradually add water and mix thoroughly - see that there are no lumps.
2. Add coconut gratings, powdered jaggery and cardamom powder, mix again; leave aside for 8-10 minutes
3. Heat a tawa, grease lightly and make dosais in the usual way - do not maket he dosa too thin or too thick. Pour a tsp of ghee all around and cook till lightly brown. Carefully turn over, cook the other side also sprinkling some ghee.
4. Serve hot.
Note: This is a nutritious evening snack for children
