Minty Kababs Recipe
INGREDIENTS :
Potatoes - 1/2 kgs
Sprouted green gram - 1/2 cup
Finely cut onions - 1/4 cup
Carrots - 3
Bread slices - 8
Dry bread crumbs (or) Rusk Powder - 3 tbsp
Salt - as required
Bengal gram flour - 5 tbsp
Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tbsp
Oil - to deep fry.
Grind together with minimum water :
Green chilles - 6
Red chilles - 4
Garlic - 3 flakes
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
Roased gram - 1 tbsp.
METHOD :
1. Pressure cook potatoes and carrots.
2. Peel and mash well.
3. Steam sprouted green gram in cooker for 3 minutes.
4. Add oil and fry onions till crisp.
5. Add cokked gram and fry till moisture gets absorbed.
6. Stir in ground paste and fry till raw smell goes.
7. Sprinkle bengal gram flour and stir for 2 minutes in reduced flame.
8. Add mashed potaotes, carrots with salt, garam masala and fry for few minutes.
9. Remove from fire and cool down.
10. Add braed slices which is dipped in water and squeezed well.
11. Mix in bread crumbs and shape into kababs.
12. Bake in oven with skewers, or deep fry in hot oil.
