Bottle Gourd Kababs Recipe
Ingredients :
Grated bottle guord (heaped) - 2 cups
Benga gram dhal - 3/4 cup
Ginger (cut into strips) - 1 tbsp
Finely cut onions - 2 tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves - 1tbsp
Salt - As required
Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tbsp
Oil - To deep fry.
GRIND TO PASTE :
Garlic - 2 flakes
Ginger - 1/4 inch piece
Green chilles - 7.
METHOD :
1. Wash dhall and take in a vessel with grated gourd and ginger strips.
2. Place the vessel in pressure cooker and cook till one sound.
3. To dry up excess moisture after cooking dry roast this in a pan for few minutes (without oil).
4. Grind coarsely and then mix salt, coriander leaves, garam masala, onions and ground paste.
5. Make lemon sized balls and shape like fingers.
6. Deep fry in hot oil till crisp.
