Kadalai Urundai Recipe
Ingredients:
Groundnut - 2 cups
Jaggery - 1 cup
Cadamom Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Rice flour - little for dusting the hand
Method:
Dry roast the groundnut and remove the skin and slightly crush it so that it will break into two pieces. (You can also use readily available roasted groundnuts).
In a heavy bottomed vessel pour 1/4 cup water and add jaggery powdered. Make a soft ball stage syrup. Remove from stove and add groundtnus and cardamom powder and mix well. Allow to cool for five to ten minutes. When it is still warm, dust your palm with little rice four (it will prevent sticking the syrup to your hand)and take out little groundnut mixture and make a small size ball.
