Thepla Recipe
Ingredients:
Whole Wheat Flour - 250 gms
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Green Chilli Paste - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
Curd - 170 gms
Oil - 15 gms
Salt to taste
Oil to toast the theplas
Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients together and knead into a soft dough by adding a little water if required.
2. Keep aside the dough for 30 minutes.
3. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and make balls of each.
4. Roll out each ball into thin theplas.
5. Cook each round on both the sides on a griddle applying a little oil until brown spots appear on the surface.
6. Serve hot.
