Salty Chihuahua Recipe

A quasi-classic, this tequila version of the salty dog is a refreshingly tart highball with enough bite from the agave to leave you begging for another.

Ingredients:

  • Silver Tequila – 2 ounces
  • Grapefruit Juice – 5 to 6 ounces
  • Kosher Salt
  • Lemon Wedge

Method:

  1. Rub the rim of a chilled highball glass with the lemon wedge and rim with salt.
  2. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  3. Pour in the tequila.
  4. Top with the grapefruit juice.
  5. Serve.
