Road Runner Recipe

Whether it is named after the real bird or after bugs bunny’s famous companion, this is a cocktail for slowing down after a fast-moving day, not for speeding things up.

INGREDIENT:

4-6 cracked ice cubes

2 measures gin

½ measure dry vermouth

½ measure Pernod

1 tsp grenadine

METHOD:

1. Put the cracked ice into the cocktail shaker.

2. Pour the gin, vermouth, Pernod and grenadine over the ice. Shake vigorously until a frost forms.

Strain into a chilled wine glass.
