Ingredients:
3-4 raw bananas
2 red chillies
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp chana dal
pinch of hing
2 tsp red chilli powder
Curry leaves
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tbsp
Method:
1. Pressure cook the Raw banana upto 2 whistles
2. Remove the cover of the bananas and smash them nicely
3. Add Salt and red chilli powder to this mashed bananas and mix well and keep aside for 10 mins
4. Heat oil in a pan
5. Add mustard seeds, jeera, urad dal, chana dal , whole red chillies ans saute.
6. When the dals turn slightly red, add the mashed bananas and mix well so that the oil is totally absorbed
7. Add curry leaves to this
8. Add a pinch of hing
9. Lower the flame and close the pan with a lid and let the mixture cook for about 2 - 3 minutes
10. Serve hot with chapati or any type of kaara kozhumbu.

This is an interesting variation. I have seen the potato podimas only, but this one seems to be nice.
