Valentine’s Day is a special day that celebrates love; and any celebration is incomplete without food and drink. Here are some romantic cocktails you to set in the Valentine’s Day mood.

Valentine's Day Cocktails

POMEGRANATE CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL

This bubbly, romantic and red champagne toast adds zing to your V-day celebrations.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Pama or any other pomegranate liquor
  • Chilled Dry sparkling wine or Brut Champagne
  • For garnishing- Lemon peels

Method:

  1. In 2 tall glasses, pour one oz of Pama each, top them both with sparkling wine and stir gently.
  2. When the liquor is even, twist a lemon peel over each of the glasses.

LOVE DAISY COCKTAIL

Ingredients:

  • Raspberries, 4 nos
  • Lemon juice, 1 part
  • Simple syrup, ½ part
  • Cointreau, ½ part
  • Beefeater Gin, 2 parts

Method:

  1. Add all the above given ingredients in a bowl and stir vigorously with ice.
  2. Strain the mixture through a strainer and pour into a tall glass.
  3. Garnish with raspberries.

NICE AND SLOE COCKTAIL

Ingredients:

  • Plymouth Sloe Gin, 1 part
  • Champagne, 3 parts
  • For garnishing- Blueberries, 3 no.s

Method:

  1. In a Cocktail glass, pour the Sloe Gin.
  2. Add the Champagne.
  3. Add the blueberries for garnishing.

CHOCOLATE-LOVERS MARGARITA

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate milk (chilled), 3 parts
  • Sauza Silver Tequila, 1 part
  • Daiquiri mix or Strawberry puree, 1 part
  • For garnishing, Chocolate covered strawberry

Method:

  1. Mix together Sauza, Chocolate milk, and strawberry puree.
  2. Stir well to blend them all together.
  3. Pour it into a tall glass.
  4. Garnish with a Chocolate covered strawberry.

PEAR-FECT LADY COCKTAIL

Ingredients:

  • Plymouth Gin, 2 parts
  • Pear liquor, 1 part
  • Lemon juice (fresh), 1 part
  • Egg white, 1 part
  • For garnishing, pear

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients together in a bowl, and stir well with ice.
  2. Strain the mixture into a tall glass.
  3. Garnish with a pear slice.

CRANBERRY FLOWER

Ingredients:

  • Hendricks Gin, 2 ounce
  • Lemon simple, 0.75 ounce
  • Lemon juice, 0.75 ounce
  • Cranberry simple syrup, 2 teaspoons
  • For garnishing, Cranberries, 6 nos

Method:

  1. Crush three cranberries; mix in cranberry simple syrup, lemon juice, Hendricks gin, and lemon simple.
  2. Shake well and strain the mixture into a tall glass.
  3. Garnish with the remaining cranberries.

CHIEF OF AFFECTIONS COCKTAIL

Ingredients:

  • Egg white, ¼ part
  • JM Rhum Agricole, 1 to ½ parts
  • Sage leaf, one
  • Aperol, ½ part
  • Grape fruit juice, ¾ part
  • Cane syrup, ½ part
  • Jacobs Creek Sparkling Rose Moscato, 1 part
  • Lime juice, ½ part

Method:

  1. Mix in all the ingredients, except the sage leaf and Jacobs Creek Sparkling Rose Moscato.
  2. Pour into a tall glass, and top with Jacobs Creek Sparkling Rose Moscato.
  3. Ganish it with the sage leaf.

SWEET RED KISS

Ingredients:

  • Dubonnet Rouge, one and a half ounce
  • Chambord, 1/3 ounce
  • Absolute Kurant, 1/3 ounce
  • Juice of orange, cranberry and pineapple

Method:

  1. Mix together all the ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a tall glass with sugared rim.
  3. Garnish with pieces of orange.

KERASI COCKTAIL

Cherry fruit in the Greek Language is known as Kerasi. So, this cocktail is made with cherry fruits.

Ingredients:

  • Cherry puree (made by blending fresh pitted cherries), 1 ounce
  • Lemon juice, ½ ounce
  • Peach vodka, 2 ounce
  • Sparkling wine
  • Peach liquor, ½ ounce
  • Cherry Brandy, ½ ounce

Method:

  1. Mix together all the above ingredients (except the sparkling wine) with ice in a bowl.
  2. Strain the mixture into a tall glass.
  3. Top with Sparkling wine.
  4. Use a cherry to garnish the drink.

STRAWBERRY KISS

Ingredients:

  • Absolute Vanilla, one and a half ounce
  • Cranberry Pineapple juice
  • Strawberry liquor, half an ounce
  • Champagne

Method:

  1. Mix together all the above mentioned ingredients, except champagne.
  2. Pour into a Cocktail glass, and top with champagne.

THE FRENCH COSMO

Ingredients:

  • Pineapple juice, 3 ounces
  • Cassis, half an ounce
  • Vodka, one and a half ounce
  • A slice of pineapple (For garnishing)

Method:

  1. Mix together all the above given ingredients with ice in a bowl.
  2. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass.
  3. Garnish with a slice of pineapple.
