Watermelon Recipes

The watermelon fruit, loosely considered a type of melon, has a smooth exterior rind (green, yellow and sometimes white) and a juicy, sweet interior flesh (usually pink, but sometimes orange, yellow, red and sometimes green if not ripe). It is also commonly used to make a variety of salads.
Watermelon is made up of almost 92% water, which makes it a great food for dieters. The other 8% of watermelon is loaded with lycopene. Lycopene is a super antioxidant that protects the heart, prostate and skin.
